Pre-shipment inspection services are designed to reduce risk and protect the interest of buyers in their international purchasing programs.
We maintain this standard of service by operating a highly efficient communication network enabling us to use our well-trained and professional specialists throughout the world as a service team dedicated to independent quality and quantity control for our clients.
The pre-shipment services division covers a broad range of traded goods such as:

  1. Agricultural commodities
  2. Industrial chemicals
  3. Development aid
  4. Engineering products and machinery
  5. Fertilizers
  6. Pharmaceuticals
  7. Communication equipment
  8. Consumer goods and textiles
  9. Jute fibre, yarn, fabric, bags, and other products
  10. Finished steel products

Our pre-shipment inspection services can be adapted to each client’s requirements but generally include relevant international standards. Typically a service portfolio would contain one or more of the following services at a supplier’s manufacturing or loading location.

  1. Raw material verification
  2. Sampling and analysis
  3. Staged production inspection
  4. Checking handling procedures
  5. Labeling and documentation control
  6. Assessment of quality control
  7. Witnessing in-house tests
  8. Finished product inspection
  9. Packing and marking inspection

To complement our pre-shipment service we also offer supervision at arrival and discharge.
Our inspection certificates are accepted universally by banks, governments and statutory organizations and are recognized by most international trading and manufacturing companies as a verification of the quality and quantity of goods purchased by the buyers.
By inserting an inspection clause nominating inspectorate into a letter of credit a client can make payment subject to a satisfactory inspection certificate and reduce the risk involved with international purchases.
