Inspectorate is a world leader in inspection and laboratory analysis of traded commodities. The company can trace its origins back to the 19th century. In october 2005, Inspectorate was purchased by specio plc.
In Iran it began its activities in 1982 through Iran Group of Surveyors as the Agent and soon the activities in this country expanded and it became better known. In 2001 the Agency turned into a joint venture registered under the name of Inspectorate (Qeshm) Ltd.
